I know...

But I love this song! I really do hate those music things that start blasting as soon as you click on the site ( I always mute my computer when I blog-surf)... but this song reminds me of God's blessings in my life: my best friend that I get the honor of spending eternity with, great places to visit and recount the memories, and a place to call home.

I'm a blessed woman. Lord, thank You.

Confused.
Overwhelmed.
Absent-minded...
Cheerful!

Yeah. Michael's been through the gauntlet. And that's today! (It didn't help that the breeze was bringing the smell of the pig farm to our front door and making me nausseous [sp?].)

And if you didn't know already, Michael is amazing! He's a real trooper. The movers came today. He did everything! I directed. He took charge and unpacked. I sure do love him.

Just thought you should know...

We are pregnant!

Yes, this may come as a surprise - "It" certainly did to us! We found out today that it's official. Our tentative due date is September 25th! Wow!

So, my tiredness is not laziness.

My hunger is not gluttony.

My mood swings are normal. Fun stuff!

Please be praying for strength, no nausea, health and energy for me, and patience and strength for Michael. :)

My husband is awesome!! He was kinda figuring that I was pregnant and encouraged me to get the pregnancy test. (The Indonesian lady at Walgreens just kept saying, "Oh, Honey... oh, Honey. Take your vitamins.") It's been fun!

Did I mention the movers are coming on Friday. Yeah. No SuperWoman for me.

We're signing papers today and hopefully will be moving in tomorrow or Friday. We are so excited. I can't wait to host all of our guests (that means you!). Please come and visit us! We'll be ready for visitors probably by the end of February, but hopefully sooner. :)

We're here! Michael and I are house hunting right now, so I hope to post pics of our new abode by the end of the week, Lord willing.

So long, Everybody! Or at least until I can get to another computer. Heading out to El Paso today. Should be arriving around 8pm (mountain time). Please continue to pray for safe travel, cheerful attitudes, and awakeness (?? whatever??)

My new hobby...

Yo Yo Quilts! To the right are the products of the mechanism on the bottom. You then sew the round thingies (yo yos) and viola! Presto. A bonified yo yo quilt.


This quilt is from the 30s'.

This is the awesome contraption that ensures you're making the same size yo yos every time! I love it! Mom told me about it. You can find it at Joann Fabrics for around $6.00. Not bad!

I'll try to keep updates on how it's progressing.

We'll be "On the Road Again"

Yup. Tomorrow marks the begining of the last leg of our trip to Vegas. Below is the address to see the route we're taking.

The first leg of the trip is baout 9 hours (Bedford, TX to El Paso, TX). The last two legs are, roughly, five hours each. That will be a nice break!

Prayers

Many people have asked what they can be praying for. So to kill a few birds with one stone [haha!] here they are:

1) That I would remain cheerful and know that God is at work.

2) That the Lord would continue to strengthen me for the task at hand

3) That I would find my security and joy in the Lord and not on the emotions running rampant in me.

4) That I would whole-heartedly seek to walk beside Michael, bless him as his wife, and not be a burden.
