Voila!

I made it! Home made laundry detergent!

1 cup Borax
1 cup Washing Soda
1 bar (2 cups shredded) soap

Mix it all together and store in an air-tight container. Use 2 tablespoons per load. Makes about 32 loads.

I was hoping to show the consistency... It resembles store bought detergent.

How well does this clean? Do you miss regular detergent at all?

I LOVE it! I still use All Clear for Audrey's clothes - it's a little too strong for her stuff, although I keep forgetting to reduce the amount of detergent I use for her stuff. Our clothes smell wonderful and they're very fresh. It's super cheap to make so it works on a tight budget.

Holly, get in touch with my mom. She just got a shipment of Washing Soda and has a ton of it, so she may be looking to sell some!
